Plant Hire
All machines are the RESPONSIBILTY of the hirer whilst on hire including Damage & Theft. We advise that appropriate Insurance Cover should be arranged for the duration of the Hire.
It is strongly recommended that operators are properly trained in the operation of the Plant that they will be hiring & should wear the necessary protective clothing.
For Diggers & Dumpers - we offer a local Delivery & Collection service within an approximate 20 mile radius. All other Plant would need to be collected from our Depot on Fishponds Trading Estate. We also offer Plant Trailers for hire if you wish to transport the Plant yourselves.
All Plant is hired with a full tank of Fuel – as long as the Plant is returned with a full tank there is no charge, otherwise we charge per litre to replenish the tank.
You will be able to hire any Plant upon production of two forms of identification (One must be your current driving licence, and the other must be a recent utility bill showing the same address as that on your licence) as well as the ability to meet the basic driving regulations.
We require a £300 Deposit and the Hire payable in advance by credit/debit card or cash to reserve any Plant Kit. The deposit will be returned to you less any damages if applicable on the safe return of the Plant Kit.
It is possible to set up a £1,000 30 day credit Trade Account – you would need to complete a Credit Application Form & the Account would be set up in your Company Name upon receipt of 2 satisfactory Trade References. This would then negate the need for ID & Deposits when hiring Plant Kit.

Breakdown & Repair
We charge an initial call out of £50 + VAT (which includes the 1st hour of Labour foc) each subsequent hour is charged from £35 + VAT. Our rates commence from when we leave our Yard & cease on return. Out of hours rates are applicable before 7.30am & after 5pm and are charged at time + half. (Travel & Call out charges are not applicable for any Workshop Repairs.)
For all non account customers payment for: 1) Workshop Repairs is due on collection of Goods and can be made by Cash, Debit or Credit Card 2) Callouts/Breakdowns: an initial Credit/Debit Card deposit is required before we are able to attend with the balance payable upon completion.
Trailer Hire
You will be able to hire any of the trailers upon production of two forms of ID (One must be your current driving licence, and the other must be a recent utility bill showing the same address as that on your licence) as well as the ability to meet the basic driving regulations.Most vehicle insurance policies will cover 3rd Party liabilities when towing provided the trailer is attached to the towing vehicle. Additional insurance should be arranged to cover theft & damage to the trailer (including contents) as the hirer is personally liable for the value of the trailer hired. Always check with your insurance broker if you are in doubt as to your particular cover.We require a £300 Deposit and the Hire payable in advance by credit/debit card or cash to reserve any Trailer. The deposit will be returned to you less any damages if applicable on the safe return of the Trailer. We also hire Straps for securing vehicles/items to the Trailers at a cost of £2+VAT per strap.
Boat Trailer – an additional cleaning charge will be levied if the Trailer is submerged in water.
